Highlights

Experiences

As a long time Vancouver local, extensive walker, forest bather, birder and tidal flats enthusiast, I’ve carefully created these experiences so you can enjoy my favourite walking routes, intertidal spots and neighbourhood coffee shops in Kitsilano. I'm also committed to keeping them eco-friendly.

Walk Vancouver's Low Tides

Walk Vancouver's

Tidal Flats at Low Tide

Stretching out almost a kilometre at low tide along Vancouver's coastline, you'll explore the expansive tidal flats, wade through tide pools, walk out to a hidden sandbar, watch for herons, eagles and seals... and sometimes even spot a whale.

As a local who knows these tides well, I'll guide you over the flats so you can slow down and focus on what's around you, feel the tide moving beneath you, hear the waves rolling in and spot the eagles flying overhead.

Explore Kitsilano Like a Local

As someone who's walked this neighbourhood for years, I'll take you on my favourite routes, winding through quiet, tree-lined streets and garden corridors, past some of Kitsilano's most scenic oceanside parks, and out to the water's edge for views of English Bay, Burrard Inlet, and the North Shore mountains.

I'll walk you through flower lined paths, share my favourite local lookouts and beachside access points, and take you for coffee at a place that's full of Kitsilano's vibrant energy.

Explore Kitsilano's Coast and Coffee Culture

Explore Kitsilano's Coast and Coffee Culture

Kitsilano has a vibrant coffee culture, with small cafes tucked beside green corridors, neighbouring parks, and just blocks from the beach. Walking between the coastline and these spots is one of my favourite ways to enjoy Vancouver as a local, and something I love sharing.

Winding through some of the area's best greenways, hidden paths, and coastline access points, I'll guide you on a walk through Kitsilano to three of my favourite independent artisanal coffee spots in Vancouver that are full of the free-spirited west coast vibes this neighbourhood is known for.

One coffee is included at every stop!

Meet Your Guide

Meet Your Guide

As a long time Vancouver local, I've spent over 15 years walking the intertidal beaches and discovering my favourite routes to travel on foot across Kitsilano.

Part forest bather, part birder, I love slowing down to get the full sensory experience of our local low tide beaches, scenic coastal vistas, and tree-lined greenways... usually with a coffee in hand, and it's something I'm passionate about sharing.
